This recipe was a bit involved but there are others on the site that are an easier lift if you are interested. Look at the Mesopotamian Cookoff for some ideas.

This sounded really interesting. I can see where the pie would need some moistening — why not use the broth the meat was cooked in? That seems like the logical choice.
